General information
Furosemide is an urinative. It is used in the treatment of congestive heart failure and edema in people with heart, liver or kidney illness.
Directions
Use it as prescribed by your doctor. Take it with a special dose-measuring spoon or medicine cup, not with a regular. Follow the directions of your doctor.
Precautions
Do not use furosemide if you are unable to urinate. Before using furosemide, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, enlarged prostate, urination problems, cirrhosis or other liver disease, an electrolyte imbalance, high cholesterol, gout, lupus, diabetes, or an allergy to sulfa drugs. Possible side effect
